One of the major goals of blogging especially fashion blogging is to develop a fan base. Make people care about what you have to say so they'll tell some one who will tell someone else and next thing you know you're taking pictures backstage shows during fashion week. That sounds cool and believe me I'm very grateful to all of those bloggers to whom I'm big fans of! That's not really the reason I blog though, I blog because it's my outlet. I can say whatever I want whenever I want and don't really have think twice about who's going to read it.
With that said sometimes I need to be super inspired to write a post. When something really inspires me I can't seem to shut up about it ( i.e. how long this post is becoming). Point is that amongst all the shows going on in NY this week I have been most inspired by Marc Jacobs S/S 2013. I'm in love with what he's been doing for Louis Vuitton and its not just the clothes. It's the entire show! The way he's chosen to showcase his work, it really tells a story, I mean how major was his debut of Louis Vuitton F/W 2012?!? This collection did not disappoint. I love how he nods to the working woman from the 60's but in a modern cool way. The low bouffants, circle motifs and mod suits seem so fresh. My favorite part of the show though is most definitely the runway. The idea of models coming out of different doors simultaneously is genius and the end is beyond brilliant!! I wont ruin it for you though so with out further adieu here is my inspiration and Marc Jacobs S/S 2013.
