The Help on HSN

A little while ago I found out that HSN is going to have a special collection based on the new movie The Help. The Help will hit theaters on the August 10th but....the collection will be available starting August 1 and on air August 5-6. So far the clips form the movie showcase beautiful dresses and fashions alike from the late 50's/ early 60's. This collection will include beauty, clothing, accessories and home decor. I kinda love lady like outfits and dresses that just make you feel so pretty and proper, so I cant wait to check this collection out. Here are some pics of what I suspect the collection will be like. I'll give an updated post once the collection breaks <3

Margherita talks Target in the new edition of Vouge

I am beyond excited about the new collection coming to Target this fall and am drooling over every bit of info or leaked pics I can get my hands on. So naturally the article on Margherita Missoni( found in the view section of the August Vouge) had me on the edge of my seat gripping the pages for dear life!. Margherita, the heir to Italian fashion empire that is Missoni, introduced readers to her new apartment and gave insight about designing the upcoming collection with Target. Along with creative details about the 400 piece line( the largest Target has seen), she also displayed several of the featured items in her own home. I for one can not wait for this collection and I am just as excited for the household items as I am for the clothing, shoe and accessory line. OK who am I kidding I cant wait to see what Margherita and mom Angela have created for fashion an Target obsessed people all over! Scroll through for the juicy pics<3
PS. Check out those prices AH-MAZ-ING!!

Time for your daily dose

The first thing I do when i get to my desk at work is to... get my daily dose of fashion of course! When I know its gonna be a busy day I like to start it off stress free by finding out about all the sales, new collabs, and trendy nail color. Here are my go to sites that make my morning and day so much more exciting.  Enjoy <3

thebudgetbabe- This is usually my first or second stop in the am because it literally has everything! There's celeb looks for less, new looks from stores I actually shop in plus an insane amount of deals that are offered pretty much everyday. Whatever you're looking for budget babe's got you covered.

cupcakesandcashmere- This site as I'm sure many of you know is pretty amazing. I love the outfits that Emily puts together. She makes me swoon over tank tops and breezy dresses even when its freezing cold here on the east coast.

collegefashion- This is a fun one and perfect if you're a student. They offer cute and affordable outfit ideas along with everything a college girl need to know. Trust me if you're a student or a fresh graduate you'll be in heaven.

nouveaucheap- The mystery woman behind this ah-mazing beauty blog is G. She has all the latest beauty news from the most affordable brands like E.L.F, Sonia Kashuk and every drugstore brand. She is my go to guru for any beauty news.

monica rose- While there are an abundance of Kardashian pics on this site (as she is their stylist) there are also a ton of insanely genius fashion pics from editorials all over the world. This is my "in awe" site, my mouth drops open from just looking at these beyond gorgeous and stunning photos.

vampyvarnish- I like many other girls have a nail polish obsession I buy two to three at a time and when it's time to re-do them I buy another bottle. It's an addiction that I'm proud to have and this site keeps me up to date on the latest and greatest colors, finishes and styles for your fingertips. Pin It

Watercolor Sundays

This dress is a good example of a classic with a twist. The classic shirt dress style is updated with modern pleats and a beautiful watercolor print. I absolutely love this dress and will literally be wearing it until it falls apart. With this dress classic accessories are a must. The boyfriend watch, nautical chain bracelet and over sized cat eye glasses made this outfit perfect for afternoon coffee.<3

Prada Inspired DIY Journal

I have a major obsession with stripes and while it's usually limited to the nautical kind, I went crazy when I first saw the now infamous tangerine and magenta striped Prada dress (shown here) on Hailee Steinfeld and again on Amanda Sayfried on the April cover of ELLE magazine. So you can imagine my excitement when I stumbled across this amazing fabric in Walmart for about $7. 50 a yard ( I almost screamed in the aisle!). Once I calmed down I promptly went to the service desk and bought a half a yard for this project. Lets begin!

Here are the supplies you will need:
  - Journal
  - Scissors
  - Fabric
  - Glue

1. Fold the fabric around the journal you've chosen and cut an appropriate amount

    2. Wrap the fabric around the journal and tape the edges to the inside. Be sure to leave some slack so the book can close and not pull the fabric.

    3. Remove the tape and glue the edges to the inside of journal. Be sure to spread the glue evenly on the surface so that you don't get any lumps in the fabric.

    4. Once the glue has dried pull out the excess fabric from the inside top and bottom corners and trim the edges.

    5. Place a dot of glue in the middle of the trimmed fabric and fold the fabric down into the spine of the journal.
